Anyone who needs to see a business the way an outsider will.
Two or three years from a sale or a raise.
See what a buyer will see while there's still time to fix it. A brand health check before M&A, done early.
Advising a client, or sizing up a company.
A read on a client before you take them to market, or on a company you're evaluating. Enid only uses what's already public.
Checking your own firm.
Advisory and investment firms ask for their own read just as often. Same process.
Wealth firms, M&A advisors, agencies, healthcare, manufacturing, consumer brands and nonprofits. Named here only with their permission.
In most reads, the company never says who it’s for.
Eight areas. Each one comes down to a plain question.
Illustration. Wrenfield Homes isn't a real company.
Positioning
Can a first-time visitor say what you do, who it's for and why it matters?
Messaging
Do you say the same thing everywhere?
Website
Does it help someone decide, or make them work?
Trust
Is there proof a stranger can check?
Visual distinctiveness
Could someone pick you out with the logo removed?
Visibility
When buyers go looking, do they find you?
AI readiness
Can an AI tool describe your company the way you would?
Market context
How do you look next to the companies you're compared with?
Usually something that's broken in public, that nobody inside knows about.
You've lived in the house too long to notice the hallway.
Not a report in your inbox. A conversation.
The Enid report covers 24 signals across eight areas, including AI visibility. It’s ready in three business days, and I’ve checked every finding before you see it.
A walkthrough with me.
Not a PDF in your inbox and a “let me know if you have questions.” Usually a video call. In person if you’re local.
What to fix first.
What's working, what can wait, what doesn't need fixing. And a 30, 60 and 90 day plan for the first moves.
A short recording.
With what to fix first at the front, so you can pass it to whoever else needs to see it.
It starts with one read. It can go as far as you need.
- Step 1
A conversation
Where the business is headed, and what you need the read for.
- Step 2
The read
Enid reads 24 signals across eight areas. I review every finding before you see it.
- Step 3
The walkthrough
We go through it together. What's working, what to fix first, and a 30, 60 and 90 day plan.
- Step 4
Strategy and roadmap
If you want to keep going, we turn the findings into a strategy session and a roadmap for the work.
The strategy and roadmap usually lead to one of three kinds of work. Each one is scoped on its own.
Each area gets a score from 0 to 100, and lands in one of five bands.
Then the areas get blended into one overall score. They don't all count the same. The ones buyers and investors check first carry more weight. Anything Enid can't fully see is left out, not counted against you.
A score isn't a grade. It's where to look first.
- No private data. It reads what's already public.
- No interviews or surveys.
- No financials.
- No opinions about your colors.
- No replacing judgment.
Enid reads what the market already sees.

No. It's me with it.
I haven't automated the whole thing, and that's on purpose. The first scores aren't wrong. They're just not the whole story.
I review every report myself before you see it. I double check the findings, cross-reference them, and update the report with anything the review turns up.
More than 40 companies have been read since March 2025.
“Nailed it.”
“I shared it with our marketing committee and we're going to make some of the adjustments Enid recommended. Really helpful!”
“These are all, like, totally in the competitive set.”
Brand audit, brand health check, first look. Same idea.
The questions people ask before they ask for a read.
What is Enid?
Enid is the brand intelligence platform behind my brand audits. It reads 24 signals across eight areas of how a company shows up in public, including AI visibility. I review every report before you see it.
What is a brand audit?
A structured look at how a company shows up: its story, its website, its proof and how easy it is to find. Done well, it tells you what to fix first. Some people call it a brand audit. I call it a first look.
How is a brand audit different from a marketing audit?
A marketing audit checks the campaigns. A brand audit checks what the campaigns are pointing at.
What is brand leakage?
The trust and value a business loses in the gap between what it is and how it looks. Every confused visitor is a small leak.
Can AI tools describe my company correctly?
Often they can't, and more buyers are asking them. AI visibility is one of the eight areas Enid checks.
What is a brand health check before M&A?
The same read, done two or three years before a sale or a raise. Early enough that there's still time to fix what a buyer would notice.
How long does it take?
The read is ready in three business days. Then we walk through it together.
Does Enid replace a person?
No. It makes my read faster and sharper. The first scores aren't wrong, they're just not the whole story, so I review every finding myself.
It starts with a conversation.
Tell me where the business is headed. I'll tell you what I'd look at first.
